Heritage Yoke Sweater

Sale price$9.00

This is the original version of my Heritage Yoke Sweater from Grand Shetland Adventure Knits. A cardigan version is also available as a separate pattern. This version is worked in a light fingering worsted spun Shetland yarn and therefore has a slightly different gauge than the cardigan version. If substituting with a woolen spun fingering weight yarn then know that the overall depth of the yoke is likely going to be deeper.

This sweater is worked in one piece from the top down with a circular yoke construction. Short rows are used to raise the back neck and optional short rows can be worked after the colorwork raising the lower half of yoke (images show sweater without lower short rows). Sleeves and body are separated at the underarm, then worked individually down to cuff and hem. Body includes optional A-line waist shaping. Body and sleeve lengths may be adjusted (note that adjustments in length will affect total yardage required of MC).
