Willapund

Sale price$8.00

Willapund was originally published as part of a knitwear collection published by PomPom Press. This collection was based on knitwear my mum designed in the 70s in Shetland.

This vest is worked in one piece from the bottom up. Front and back are then divided at the underarm and steek stitches are cast on to work the remainder of the upper body in the round. Additional steeks are added for front neck and later, for the back neck. After the shoulders have been joined stitches are then picked up around the armhole and an i-cord cast off is worked to finish the armhole. The neck band is also finished with an i-cord.
