This vest is worked in one piece from the bottom up. Fronts and back are then divided at the underarm and steek stitches are cast on to work the remainder of the upper body in the round. Additional steeks are added for front neck. After the shoulders have been joined stitches are then picked up around the armhole and neck to work ribbing. The steeks do not need to be reinforced if working with a good sticky wool like 100% Shetland wool.

Lower body length is 10” / 25.5 cm for first 4 sizes and 11 ¾” / 30 cm for last 3 sizes
If you intend to lengthen the lower body more yarn will be required.
