The Hairst Mön hat is worked bottom up beginning with a 1x1 ribbing section and followed by stranded knitting. This hat shares the same motif as found in the Hairst Mön Mittens pattern and is also knit using Jamieson's DK yarn.

Sizing

Circumference at brim: 18” / 46 cm
Length from brim to crown as worn: 8 ½” / 22 cm

Materials

Needles
US 4 / 3.5mm circular needle, 16” / 40cm length (for body of hat)
US 6 / 3mm circular needle, 16” / 40cm length (for brim)
US 6 / 4mm DPNs or long circular needle (if working magic loop for crown of hat)
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
