I have created kits in four colorways from Jamieson's of Shetland DK yarn including the shade Titanic, used for the original sample. Wonderful woolly coziness awaits!

Intended to be worn with 3-6 ½ inches / 7.5-16.5 cm of positive ease with less positive ease suggested for larger sizes. The shape and construction of this vest creates more of a poncho-style slipover with deep armholes and shaped shoulders.

Shown in size 2 with 3 ½” / 8.75 cm of positive ease at chest.

DK weight yarn in the approx. amount: 700 (800, 930, 1055, 1180, 1290, 1400, 1520) yds / 640 (732, 850, 965, 1080, 1180, 1280, 1390) m

Shown in: Jamieson’s of Shetland Double Knitting (100% Shetland wool, 82 yds / 75 m per 25g) in shade Titanic

9 (10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19) balls
Needles

US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needle, 32" / 60 cm and 40" / 100 cm length (ribbing needle)

US 8 / 5 mm circular needle, 16” / 40 cm and 32" / 80 cm length (main needle)

Finishing (for Three Needle Bind Off): 1 spare US 7 / 4.5mm circular needle, 32" / 60 cm length for TNBO at center front and back, 1 spare US 8 / 5mm circular needle, 32" / 80 cm length for TNBO at shoulders and 1 US 9 / 5.5mm circular needle any length for TNBO at shoulders.
