This kit is for the yarn only 

The Mool Vest Kit is worked using Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift using the following shades:

Granite (MC), Osprey (CC1), Salmon (CC2), Bracken (CC3) + Nutmeg (CC4)

MC: 5 (5, 5, 6, 6) (6, 7, 7, 8) balls
CC1 and CC2: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) (1, 1, 2, 2) balls
CC3 + CC4: 1 ball

  • Kits are divided into separate sizes as different numbers of balls are needed for each.

Recommended to be worn with 3–5” / 7.5–12.5 cm of positive ease.
Shown in size 3 with 5” / 12.5 cm of positive ease at chest.

Yarn: Fingering-weight yarn in the following amounts:
MC: 465 (515, 555, 585, 645) (675, 735, 765, 825) yds / 425 (471, 508, 535, 590) (617, 672, 700, 755) m.
CC1 and CC2: 70 (80, 85, 95, 100) (105, 110, 120, 125) yds / 64 (73, 78, 87, 92) (96, 100, 110, 114) m each.
CC3: 65 (70, 75, 80, 85) (90, 95, 100, 105) yds / 60 (64, 68, 73, 78) (82, 87, 92, 96) m.
CC4: 50 (55, 60, 65, 70) (75, 80, 85, 90) yds / 46 (50, 55, 60, 64) (68, 73, 78, 82) m.

Gudrun’s Mool: (Light grey background): shades Granite (MC), Osprey (CC1), Salmon (CC2), Bracken (CC3) and Nutmeg (CC4).
Needles

US 3 / 3.25 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm length (main needle) and one spare needle of any length (for TNBO).
US 2 / 2.75 mm circular needle, 16” / 40 cm and 24” / 60 cm length (bands and armhole ribbing).
US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needle, any length for TNBO at shoulders.
Notions

5 removable stitch markers (to show button placement), waste yarn, tapestry needle, 5 buttons (1” / 2.5 cm in diameter).
Gauge

27 sts & 38 rows = 4” / 10 cm over Stockinette Stitch worked flat using main needle, after blocking.
