The Vaddel Neckerchief is worked using Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift.

Spindrift shades used: Old Gold (MC), Mint (CC1), Amber (CC2), Coral (CC3)

MC: 2 balls
CC1, 2 + 3:1 ball

Sizing

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approx 42” / 107 cm wingspan and 15” / 38 cm spine depth.
Materials

Yarn: Fingering-weight yarn in the following amounts:
MC: 230 yds / 210 m.
CC1 and CC3: 50 / yds / 46 m each.
CC2: 40 yds / 37 m.

Shown in: Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift (100% Shetland Wool; 115 yds / 105 m per 25 g ball)

Gudrun’s Vaddel: shades Old Gold (MC), Mint (CC1), Amber (CC2) and Coral (CC3).
Needles

US 6 / 4 mm circular needle, 16” / 40 cm, 32” / 80 cm and 40” / 100 cm lengths (you will need longer cables as the neckerchief increases in size).
Notions

Stitch markers (2), tapestry needle.
Gauge

21 sts & 40 rows = 4” / 10 cm over combined Stockinette Stitch and Slip St Pattern worked flat using main needle, after blocking.
